L'Oréal BB Cream Review
If you look at my edges in the picture below you can see some chalky looking spots around the edges where I was not able to get the foundation into.
When I noticed I was not getting results any where close to the regular BB Cream I normally use, I figured I would go to Plan B, which was to see how it worked as a primer underneath foundation.

Zenni Optical Review
A few years ago I purchased glasses and contacts only to be hit with sticker shock. Yes, stickers shock. After insurance and discounts were applied I ended up dishing out $700.
Fast forward to this year I was in the market for a new pair of glasses and figured I couldn't go wrong with hitting up Foreyes Optical. Ummm, yeah well when the guy told me I would be looking at paying $228 for a pair of glasses I looked him in his face and said, "nuhh huuun".
Before I go on let me give you a little more insight. I have a very strong prescription, which would call for high index lenses because they are thinner. I also go the extra mile and get anti reflective coating on my lenses because I'm on the computer at least 15 hours out of the day.
I came home, got online and started researching online optical sites. I came across a few that were ridiculously expensive, one that was inexpensive and the glasses looked cheesey. Then I stumbled on Zenni Optical. I researched for reviews and they seemed to have gotten a lot of good reviews across the board so I figured why not give it a try.
The website allows for you to upload a picture of yourself so you know what the frames look like on you prior to purchasing. If you choose to be lazy like myself then you can always use one of the six models on the right hand side of the site to get an idea of what your frames look like.
I ended up picking out one pair as a test. If I love them when they get here then I will buy two more pair just to have options. Anyway, I got high index lenses, super hydrophobic (water resistant) anti reflective lenses all for $65. Yes, $65. That sounds a whole lot better than $228.
It took almost a week to make the glasses. I will follow this post up with another post when the glasses get here, hopefully sometime this week.
Stay tuned for more thrifty finds.

There Is Purpose...
I first started this blog as an assignment for a class some years ago and for some reason never saw fit to delete it. I mean I do have other blogs that I maintain.
However, I have to stand up and admit that I am indeed a spend thrift. If I want it then I will get it and I refuse to pay full price. If I love a product and if it is worth the money then I will tell the world. If it sucks then I will tell everyone one exactly why it sucks and what you can purchase that is worth your money.
I was asked to do a review on a BB Cream by L'Oréal. I will post it by weeks end with pictures of the application so everyone can understand my gripe with the product. Until then state tuned.

NACA
How does this non profit make an impact on the economy? There are several ways. By partnering with major banks they lend billions of dollars to people to purchase homes, thus infusing money back into the economy and raising the number of home purchases. Because the program is designed to help people prepare for having a mortgage then it lessens the risk of foreclosure and if by some chance there has been a loss of income there are parameters in place that will assist with mortgage payments until circumstances change. Additionally, they advocate heavily against banks who practice predatory lending and they lobby on Capital Hill for the Senate to create new legislation for consumer rights in regards to credit.
Since they are a nonprofit money is not avaliable for big advertising thus this program is heard by word of mouth; with that I will leave you with the website for additonal information...
