Before I get started the BB Cream was given to me courtesy of She speaks.com/L'Oréal for review.
I struggled with this review because I generally like L'Oréal products but this one right here was not for me.
The product comes out of the tube relatively colorless as it will adjust to your skin tone. The feel of the product is silky, slippery yet a little grainy.
I was disappointed with the results from the initial application because it left my face looking ashy. Mind you I washed, toned and moisturized my face with Demerlogica products prior to application.
If you look at my edges in the picture below you can see some chalky looking spots around the edges where I was not able to get the foundation into.
When I noticed I was not getting results any where close to the regular BB Cream I normally use, I figured I would go to Plan B, which was to see how it worked as a primer underneath foundation.
see no illumination and straight ashy.

I use Make Up Forever HD Foundation in Cognac over the BB Cream. As a primer it is ok. The BB Cream just seemed to sit on top of my skin, which made it quite uncomfortable and left me feeling as though I had a pile of make up sitting on my face.
It looks good in pictures, looks ok in person (kind of ashen and light) but the feel of it on my face, not so good. The one good thing I can say about the product as a primer is that is preserves the look and wards off oxidation of your foundation. So if your foundation oxidizes really quickly then this would be a good product to use underneath.
What I would like to see from L'Oréal is more options for women of color. I think part of the ashy look I obtained was because the product was not really meant to adjust to someone with skin as dark as mine. Also if it was weightless the product would be perfect.
My final thoughts? This product is not for me. I would not spend the money on it and I would actually pay extra money to purchase Smash Box BB Cream, which leave my face looking amazing.
At this point I think I will just stick to purchasing their lip, primer and eye makeup products. Outside of the True Match foundation I don't feel they have anything else to offer me. I will be having a give away of this product. I hate throwing things away especially if there is a happy home willing to take it in. So stay tuned I will be posting giveaway details soon, very soon.
